Evanghelia stranded in the 60’s due to bad weather conditions. The bottom of the ship was stuck between 2 V-shaped rocks. Evanghelia was a commercial ship that belonged to Aristotel Onassis. Due to high retrieval costs, it was abandoned and soon became one of Costinesti resort symbols.
